When working with fabric:
- always wash fabric first, and do not use any fabric softener or dryer sheets.
- Apply ink to the fabric, heating each color of ink as you go.
- Heat set (recommended) by ironing at appropriate fabric temperature using a paper towel in between the inked fabric and your iron to ensure the wet ink does not smudge onto your iron.
