Introduction to Scrapbooking
Level: Beginner
Tutor: Steph Cost: £10
Fancy learning how to scrapbook? Let Steph take you through your first scrapbook pages with ease. As well as creating two 12x12 layouts, during the session you will also cover:
Scrapbook Basics
=============
Scrapbooking is a paper craft that encompasses memorabilia, photographs, and the written word to create keepsake albums. These basics will teach you about the hobby of scrapbooking and how to prepare to make a scrapbook.
B. Tools of the Trade
=============
Steph will familiarise you with the basic tools you need to begin scrapbooking. As you become comfortable using the basic tools, you will want to branch out and try some of the more advanced tools.
C. Matting
=======
Matting is one of the most spectacular techniques for making photos stand out on your scrapbook page, just like when creating cards. Enhancing a photo with a mat adds interest and excitement to the image. There are many ways to mat a photo in order to create a well-designed scrapbook page, of which some of these will be covered in class.

Introduction to Heat Embossing
Level: Beginner
Tutor: Kay Cost: £5
A class following on from ‘Introduction to Stamping' giving an introduction to heat embossing with basic information on tools and types of embossing powders, inks and papers to get great results. Kay will give you lots of tips and techniques to practice for successful heat embossing.

Crafty Lou will inspire you with her unique and stunning colouring techniques using versacolour cubes and incorporating shrink plastic with the Tilda range of Magnolia stamps from Sweden.

Brenda Walton Designs - Wow, this is a scrapbooking class filled with fun layouts and lots of goodies.
Your goodie bag for the day will not only include a gorgeous K&Co 12x12 scrapbook album from Brenda Walton but also co-ordinating papers, stickers, embellishments and rubon packs.

Beautiful Blooms
Level: Any
Tutor: Gina Cost: £25
Come and create beautiful floral cards you will be proud of, using the a variety of stamps from Hobby Art's Scene-It range, Art Impressions and Rubber Stamp Tapestry. Gina will show you how to get the most from your stamps and create gorgeous, elegant projects that are easy to recreate time and time again.

You'll create a lovely desktop spinner album that will not just look brilliant but also allow you to view precious photos at a glance.
Lisa will be using pretty 12x12 designer papers and some of the latest embellishments to help you create your masterpeice.

Come and learn how to use the Copic Markers for wonderful colouring results that give rich and vibrant colouring with no streaking and just stunning results. Louise will concentrate on skin and hair colouring to start with and then build on those techniques learnt, throughout the rest of the day. A very, very useful and resource rich class that is guaranteed to give you a great start to knowing how to get the best out of your Copics.

- pencil and eraser
- double sided sticky tape
- glue stick
- bone folder
- watercolour reservoir brush
- tweezers
- craft knife
- scissors
- ruler
- quickie glue pen
- trimmer
- brush for watercolouring
- paintbrush for acrylic paints

* Classes spaces are assigned on a first come, first served basis, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
* Payment is required at the time of registration as spaces are limited.
* All classes are held at the shop in our workshop - Sir Stampalot, 76 Papyrus Road, Peterborough, PE4 5BH (there is wheel chair access and free parking).
* Most classes only cost £10 (which covers the course and the materials used). Useful worksheets may be provided during each class to take home.
* No previous stamping experience is necessary unless otherwise specified.
* We will inform you when you sign up for a class if there are any additional items that you will need.
* There will be refreshments during classes.
* Class samples may be on display in the shop for you to check out.
* We reserve the right to cancel a class if the required minimum number of participants is not met - if we cancel a class, then a full refund will be issued.
* Cancellations made 48 hours before class date will be given store credit - no refunds for cancellations made after that time.
* Children are not permitted to stay unattended in the shop while you attend a class.
